IT WAS A “CLOSE FIGHT” BETWEEN RAYMOND Bagatsing and Julia Clarete in the final stretch of the reality-talent search “Hollywood Dreamers,” according to ABC program manager Ramon Vicente V. de Vera.
“There were seven jurors composed of Hollywood casting agents and industry insiders,” De Vera said. “The final score, producer Romeo Joven tells us, is 4-3—but Joven won’t say in whose favor. He’s keeping it a secret until the big revelation.”
The last episode of the two-part finals airs at 10 tonight on ABC 5, which co-produced the search with Next Generation Productions.
The winner is guaranteed roles in two Hollywood movies, “Wrinkles” and “UN Murders.”
Bagatsing and Clarete, who led a pack of five finalists, were sent to LA on Oct. 30 for the last five days of the competition.
They were looking for “intensity,” the jurors told De Vera. Having impressed all members of the panel, Julia and Raymond were each given a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) card. were convinced the two “wouldn’t have difficulty landing jobs in the United States.”
“Viewers will see behind-the-scenes footage of Julia and Raymond’s Hollywood experiences.”
